Three persons were killed and six others got injured when their tractor-trolley overturned in Madhya Pradesh's Katni, nearly 360-kilometres from state capital Bhopal.
The incident happened late on Saturday when the vehicle was returning after the immersion of Durga idols.
The tractor turned turtle while the driver, trying to save a cow, lost control of the vehicle.
The injured people were rushed to a hospital in Vijayraghavgarh, nearly 38-kilometres from the accident site.
