President of the United States Donald J Trump has arrived to deliver his first State of the Union Address.
First Lady Melania Trump, who is wearing a cream-colored suit, is also present in the chamber.
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin, Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke and Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis have also been spotted.
A total of 15 special guests, ranging from workers, business owners, to parents of gang-violence victims, military members and public servants, have been invited for the Trump's first SOTU address.
Among the absentees, there is a member of the presidential cabinet, who is also not attending the event. Such a member is deliberately kept away at a secret location, so that the person (designated survivor) could serve as acting president, in the event of a catastrophic occurrence.
The speech is delivered in the presence of members of both the House and the Senate, in the chamber of the House of Representatives. The speaker of the House introduces the President.
