Following Jay-Z's recent comments about him, US President Donald Trump has hit back at the rapper.
"Somebody please inform Jay-Z that because of my policies, Black Unemployment has just been reported to be at the LOWEST RATE EVER RECORDED!," Trump tweeted on Sunday.
In a recent interview with CNN's Van Jones', Jay-Z responded to a comment Trump made earlier this month when he questioned why the United States continues to accept people from "shithole countries," referring to Africa, Haiti and El Salvador.
"It is disappointing and it's hurtful," the 48-year-old had said.
"Everyone feels anger, but after the anger it's really hurtful because it's looking down at a whole population of people and it's so misinformed because these places have beautiful people and beautiful everything. This is the leader of the free world speaking like this."
"Because it's not about money at the end of the day. Money is not - money doesn't equate to happiness. It doesn't. That's missing the whole point. You treat people like human beings, then - that's the main point.
