Trump's financial disclosure highlights significant income boost

United States President Donald Trump on Friday highlighted his business empire through his financial disclosure forms, revealing income worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

A 98-page disclosure form signed by President Trump, this report covers January 2016 through April 15, 2017, as reported by CNN Money.

President Trump reported an income of USD 288 million from his golf courses alone in the past year, including USD 19.8 million from his club in Bedminster, New Jersey. Also, the income ascertained at his luxury Washington hotel through mid-April is USD 19.7 million.

He also reported USD 37.2 million in income in the past year from Mar-a-Lago, the private Florida resort where he hosted the president of China and ordered missile strikes against Syria. This figure was USD 7.4 million higher than on his previous financial disclosure filing in May 2016.

All-in-all, Trump brought in approximately USD 600 million to USD 650 million in employment assets and income.

Although Trump was not required to file a disclosure form under the Federal law until next year, the White House via a statement disclosed that Trump "welcomed the opportunity" to file the form "voluntarily.
