Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday spoke to the Director-General of CISF over phone in connection with the emergency landing of Turkish Airlines flight at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
"HM spoke to DG CISF over phone who apprised him of the situation at the IGI airport post the emergency landing of Turkish airlines flight," Home Minister Office tweeted.
All passengers on board a Turkish Airlines flight were earlier evacuated safely following a bomb threat.
Sources have stated that a message written on the bathroom mirror of the plane warned about the bomb in the luggage compartment. When contacted, the Nagpur Air Traffic Controller guided the flight to Delhi.
The flight was plying between Bangkok and Istanbul.
