Twitter has launched an app for the Windows 10 operating system.

According to The Next Web, the app shows the top trending tweets, photos and videos without any need for the users to log in. It also provides the users tweets in Live Tiles right from the Start Menu.

When the users log in, they can upload multiple photos in a tweet. The app also supports animated GIFs and Vine videos playback. Direct Messaging is also available if the users do not want the conversations to be available to everyone.

The app might also run on Windows 10 Mobile after it rolls out later in the year as it is built under Microsoft's Universal Windows Platform

The new Twitter app is available for download via the Windows App Store now.
