At least two persons have died and a few have been injured in a fire at a hotel in the center of Prague.
Several media reports stated that the fire has broken out at the four-star Eurostars David Hotel, blocks away from the Vltava River and near the Czech capital's National Theatre.
Death toll is likely to increase.
Firefighters and paramedics have rushed to spot. 40 people were evacuated after the blaze broke out on Saturday, said the Czech Fire Rescue Service.
The cause of the fire, which started on the ground floor, is not yet clear.
The 76-room hotel is a 19th century Bohemian, Neo-Renaissance palace.
