At least two people were injured after a part of an under-construction Lucknow Metro pillar collapsed in Sardari khera area of Alambagh in Lucknow this morning.
The incident took place at around 8 a.m.
"I was driving my auto rickshaw when suddenly this part of the pillar fell on my vehicle. It is Sunday, therefore, there is not so much damage otherwise there would have been more number of injuries," Hitesh Kumar Shrivastava, an eyewitness, told ANI.
The engineers present at the site are trying to ascertain the cause of the incident.
