Two killed in blast near bus stand in Imphal

At least two persons were killed and seven others got injured when a powerful bomb exploded at Yaiskul area in Imphal West district of Manipur on Wednesday morning.

According to reports, the bomb planted near the roadside at Yaiskul bus stand in Imphal went off at 6.20 a.m. killing one person on the spot, while one of the injured died in a hospital.

The spot is about one kilometre south of the official residence of Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh.
