The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel gunned down two Maoists in an encounter in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district this morning.
A joint squad of the CRPF's 217th battalion and the district police had yesterday arrested two Naxals during a search operation in Konta area, about 500 km from Raipur.
The Maoists are said to be India's biggest internal security threat.
