The two railway officials who were abducted by Naxals in Bihar's Masudan area were reportedly released on Wednesday.

A group of Naxals had attacked the Masudan railway station and abducted the two officials, including the Assistant Station Master (ASM), on Tuesday night.

They had also torched the station property.

The incident, which affected the operation of trains on Bhagalpur-Kiul line, took place after the Naxals had called for Bihar and Jharkhand 'bandh' on December 20.
