Typo stops iPhone keyboard sales as Blackberry-won injunction takes effect

Typo has reportedly stopped the sale of its add-on keyboard for the iPhone, after an injunction won by Blackerry took effect.

The injunction bans Typo from importing iPhone keyboards to the US.

According top Pc World, the injunction is part of a patent lawsuit brought against it by BlackBerry and was triggered when BlackBerry put up a 500,000 dollars bond with the court.

Meanwhile, the money will be used to compensate Typo for its lost profits if it ends up winning the case, the report added.
