Two U.S. experts on South Asian Affairs have said that a major terrorist attack in India can lead to a massive military assault on Pakistan that could result in a nuclear war in one of the world's most populous regions.
According to Dawn News, George Perkovich and Ashley Tellis presented the scenario before the U.S. senate this week.
The US Senate along with the House of Representatives held some hearings this week to see to the budget of the Obama administration for 2016.
During the hearings, the two experts talked about a nuclear war in South Asia as a result of India-Pakistan relations saying that Pakistan could use massive nuclear weapons in retaliation to India's military assault that would come as a result of a major attack on India.
