U2 band member Bono has admitted that he is concerned that the band's hey days may be over.

When BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe asked the 53-year-old musician whether it was difficult to stay important to the public, he admitted that the band is on the verge of irrelevance, the Mirror reported.

Bono said that they have to make stuff relevant to them and make an honest account of what they are going through.

If that's relevant to other people, great, but they are not sure about themselves, he added.
