UC Browser, BIGO LIVE to launch quiz game in India

BIGO LIVE, a Singapore-based popular live video streaming application and UC News, a news and content aggregation platform by the Alibaba Mobile Business Group, collaborated in March, for the first time to launch HQ activity in India.

The collaboration aims at spreading knowledge quotient among their respective audiences by promoting a quiz on the lines of the famous game show, "Kaun Banega Crorepati" and making them win the cash splash, this holi.

According to the information, the "OMG QUIZ, OMG CASH" run jointly by BIGO and UC browser is seeing active participation and is successfully attracting a wide audience across the world due to its unique game format.

The game is a 12 question game on the lines of Famous Television show, "KBC" where the participant can get an extra life by referring the app to the co-participant.

To play the game one will have to download BIGO LIVE app and navigate to the OMG QUIZ banner respectively. The participants can win money from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 10 lakh rupees. "OMG Quiz" runs on BIGO LIVE App everyday 9 PM onwards on weekdays and 1 PM and 9 PM onwards on Weekends.

"It is for the first time that collaboration like this has happened with the aim of spreading 360-degree knowledge quotient for the users," said BIGO LIVE India Marketing Head, Nagesh Banga.
