A UK man has been put behind bars for six weeks for having sex with a "helpless" goat in a barn in Devizes, Wilts.
Robert Newman, who had initially denied his heinous crime, was also ordered to register as a sex offender, the Daily Star reported.
The goat's female owner said in a statement that Newman has cost them a considerable amount of money because they now had to install security cameras, pay for vets fees and antibiotics for the injuries sustained by the goat.
Meanwhile, Newman's attorney, Anne Ellery, said that her client's actions were a "symptom of isolation rather than depravity".
Ellery asserted that treatment is certainly something that Newman, 23, will need to seek.
