Prabhuraj will be using his vast experience in marketing, production planning and execution, and technical consultancy to bear to enhance Ultimate Sun System's growth, especially in the Karnataka region where he will act as the company's exclusive business partner.
Prabhuraj began his career after graduating from SKSJ Technological Institute, Bangalore University, in 1992, when he started working as an executive for textile production, handling outsourcing initiatives and quality control. After working in the sector for four years, he started his own apparels manufacturing industry in 1996, catering to several premium brands such as Arrow, Marks & Spencer, Lacoste, and Zara, amongst others.
It was at this time that he became a technical consultant for upcoming businesses, given his immense success in the industry. In 2010, he was appointed as an advisor for the Cotton Advisory Board (CAB) for the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, gaining considerable experience of, and insight into, government policymaking and industry promotion.
Continuing his technical consultancy work, he was drawn to the power sector due to its major impact upon industry, and became knowledgeable about the practical applications and implementation of renewable energy for industry, and was associated with Green Fuel Supplies Pvt. Ltd., a renewable energy company, from 2013 to 2015.
