The United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will brief a closed session of the Security Council to disclose the contents of the investigation report on use of chemical weapons on the civilians of Damascus last month, officials said.
The U.N. said its chief chemical weapons inspector had submitted his team's report on Sunday on alleged poison gas attack in Syria, Fox News reports.
The inspection team, led by Swedish expert Ake Sellstrom, was mandated to report on whether chemical weapons were used in the August 21 attack on the suburbs of Damascus or not, and if so, which chemical agents were used, the report added.
