Many employees were seen working hard and playing harder in a new video at a Chinese factory where Apple products are manufactured.
The Foxconn factory has been known in the past for multiple labour strikes and staff suicides due to hard working conditions.
According to news.com.au, but the new video has shown the lighter side of the Foxconn factory.
Two journalists from the New York Times went to China to find out what Foxconn workers do after hours and found the employees have a lot more fun than anyone at work.
One of the journalists said that he saw a 'vibrant youth culture'. Factory worker Luo Jaoji said that he and his friends call themselves 'The Wolfpack', adding that they all were like wolves and had a lot of fun together.
He said that his favourite thing to do is drink with his buddies and sink karaoke.
According to the report, many senior workers can also be found at the factory city's hottest club 'Through The Song', which features drinking competitions, raves and scantily clad women who play paper-scissors-rock with patrons.
Foxconn said that it was 'focused on providing the best working and living environments in the industry' and 'raising the bar' for workplace standards.
A Foxconn spokeswoman said that its campuses are equipped with a number of facilities that employees can use in their leisure time, including swimming pools, basketball courts, Internet cafes, libraries and other recreational facilities.
She added that Foxconn provided a full range of support services to help employee who are experiencing both personal and work-related challenges, the report added.
