Cheryl Cole has revealed that she would have kept her nuptials with Frenchman Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini a secret, but it was "unfortunately leaked".
During Greg James' Radio 1 show, the 31-year-old singer said that she wanted to keep the marriage, which became public a week later, entirely away from the spotlights, the Daily Star reported.
The 'X Factor' judge, who was earlier married to Ashley Cole, had recently said that she though she never discussed her personal life, she wanted to share her "happy news" about the hitch.
