UP: Teacher hits class II student, breaks his arm

A class II student's right arm was left broken after he was allegedly beaten up by his teacher in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district.

The victim has been identified as Abhay, 7, who seemed to have been talking in class while his teacher was asleep.

While speaking to ANI, Abhay said, "While the teacher was asleep, the boys started to quarrel. The teacher woke up and I was standing right next to him. He then took a thick stick and continuously attacked me several times.

A case has been registered against the teacher and the accused has been booked.
