Four persons, including three children, were killed on Monday when an LPG cylinder exploded here in a bus. At least a 100 other passengers were also left injured due to the mishap.
"A five kg cylinder kept in the bus exploded. We have arranged for the ambulances and other assistance," said Nidhi Keswani, the District Magistrate of the area adding, "Some of the seriously injured passengers have been referred to the Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi for treatment."
The incident happened in a private bus in Qutubpur village on Shikarpur- Jahangirabad road where a cylinder was reportedly kept inside the bus.
