Congress leader Rajeev Shukla on Wednesday said the house needs to hold a proper discussion on the CSAT issue to ensure that no students is at a loss.

Shukla said, "We people want that a complete discussion should take place in the parliament, everybody's views come in, so that all the students of North and South India are satisfied. The students have a lot of wrath in them against the government because students belonging to every region have to face problems because of this. Their future is in dark."

"A proper discussion should take place in the house and afterwards the government can reach to a conclusion so that no student suffers from loss, all the Indian languages are respected and any sort of loss of opportunity must not happen to any student," he added.

Talking about NCP's views, he said, "Every party has the right to put forward their view. They (NCP) put their view and we put ours."

Earlier, in a bid to resolve the CSAT row, the government took a decision that the marks of English section will not be included for merit. This decision did not appease the protesting students completely as they want the CSAT to be scrapped entirely.
