United States dentist Walter James Palmer, who killed the most famous lion Cecil in Zimbabwe, has said that he regrets shooing the animal, insisting that he thought he was on a legal hunt.
According to the BBC, the police said that Palmer may face poaching charges.
The police have already arrested two people for the killing of Cecil.
Palmer, from Minnesota, said he relied on professional guides to find a lion and obtain the necessary permits.
