Caitlyn Jenner can make Olympic history again, if she wants.
Caitlyn was inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame as Bruce in 1986 thanks to her legendary gold medal in the 1976 Olympic decathlon.
Now, the US Olympic Committee, has been quoted by TMZ.com, as sayingin a statement that it would gladly update the name from Bruce Jenner to Caitlyn Jenner if she files a formal request.
Patrick Sandusky, spokesperson for the US Olympic Committee, said Caitlyn has to file a formal request, which the USOC will review and consider.
Caitlyn's representative said the former was still unclear whether she should make the request, and has requested for time to think it over.
There won't be any physical honor for the H.O.F. inductees until the U.S. Olympic Museum opens in 2018. So for now, the change would just be one for the record books.
