US Central Command (CENTCOM) Chief General Lloyd Austin has said that Pakistan's tensions with India directly affects the country's strategy in Afghanistan and has an impact on the regional stability.
According to the Express Tribune, Lloyd told Congress that India-Pakistan tension "drives Pakistan's regional stability" and especially since it relates to Afghanistan.
The US CENTCOM chief said that they have made progress in strengthening cooperation with Pakistan over the last few years.
Lloyd also said that the military-to-military relationship between US and Pakistan continues to improve with the key factors being the international military education and training, FMF, and the Coalition Support Fund.
