US woman accuses film director Mahmood Farooqui of rape

A United States national has accused film director Mahmood Farooqui of rape.

According to reports, the woman in question has filed a complaint against Farooqui at the New Friends Colony police station here.

Farooqui has been sent to judicial custody for six days.
