Shot by the legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz, the magazine cover dubs eleven actresses, posing in high glamour in a studio back alley Wonder Women.
The young actresses, on the cover, are all decked out in traditional old Hollywood elegance.
The eleven wonder women are Emma Stone, Lupita Nyong'o, Amy Adams, Natalie Portman, Ruth Negga, Dakota Fanning, Elle Fanning, Aja Naomi King, Dakota Johnson, Greta Gerwig, and Janelle Monae.
The profile praises their roles in the past year, all of which tell the stories of women, overcoming adversity, have set themselves apart as some of the most lauded actors of 2016.
