Varma appointed next Ambassador, Permanent Representative of India to UN Conference on Disarmament
D. Bala Venkatesh Varma has been appointed as the next Ambassador and Permanent Representative of India to the UN Conference on Disarmament, Geneva.
The 1988-batch IFS officer is expected to take up his assignment shortly.
