'Veere Di Wedding' off to a 'solid' start

The much-hyped movie 'Veere Di Wedding' has made its way to the list of top five openers of 2018.

Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania, the flick has garnered Rs 10.7 crore on its opening day.

Film critic Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the numbers, writing, "#VeereDiWedding has a WINNING START on Day 1... Makes its way into the TOP 5 OPENERS of 2018... Expected to build up a SOLID TOTAL over the weekend... Fri Rs 10.70 cr. India biz."

He further said the film has taken a 'solid start' in key international markets as well.
