BJP leader Vinay Katiyar has registered a complaint at North Avenue police station here alleging he received death threats from an unidentified caller.
Katiyar complained that he received a call from an unknown person on his personal mobile number. The BJP leader alleged that the caller abused him and then asked him how long he could save himself and his days were numbered.
Katiyar said when he sought to know about the whereabouts of the caller, the person said he was calling from Jantar Mantar and later on the phone was switched off.
The BJP leader said that he was at his flat in North Avenue when he received the call.
