Vivek Oberoi organizes charitable fashion show for cancer patients in Mumbai

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi along with designer Maheka Mirpuri's foundation MCan and Tata Memorial Hospital organized a special fashion show to raise funds for cancer patients.

Speaking on the occasion, Vivek thanked everyone present for their support and said, "What I love about this night is that and all of you who made this possible is that all of us in this room have lost someone we love, all of us. Me, Mahika and all of you people, someone you care about."

"And this I think is the most beautiful way to encapsulate the spirit of creating a living monument to the love that you felt for the people that you lost to cancer because in this love, in this night, in all that we are doing this evening there is hope for so many people that are fighting with cancer now. Thank you so much for being here tonight, and more power to you all, and more power to MCan".

The event saw models sashaying down the runway in Maheka's beautiful creation against the backdrop of soulful Sufi music. The money raised by this show will go to those who cannot afford treatment for cancer.
