Ahead of Lok Sabha election in West Bengal's Malda district, the Election Commission of India has removed Arnab Ghosh from the post of Malda Superintendent of Police.
Baruipur Superintendent of Police Ajay Prashad will take charge as Malda SP.
Malda district comprising of two Lok Sabha constituencies - Malda South and Malda North - will go for polling on April 23.
