Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that his side needs to defend better if they want to bring back good results following their 2-0 win over Aston Villa in their Premier League clash on Saturday.

Earlier, Chelsea secured their third win of the ongoing campaign when striker Diego Costa scored a first-half goal for his side followed by Alan Hutton'own goal in the 53rd minute of the game.

Mourinho stressed that winning few games would help to stabilize his side's confidence and would bring them back to their previous position, Sport24 reported.

Expressing his views on left out midfielder Eden Hazard, the 52-year-old said that the player would be left on the bench until he didn't perform like Willian and Pedro.

Despite the win, Chelsea continues to remain at the bottom half of the table and are ten points behind leaders Manchester City.

Mourinho-led Chelsea will lock horns with West Ham on October 24.
