Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly met with the agent of eccentric AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli as he weighs up a summer move for the Italian star.
Arsenal has been strongly linked with a 25 million-pound deal to sign Balotelli at the end of the season, with Wenger on the lookout for a world class forward, and there is speculation that the club's sponsors Puma could help fund the transfer.
According to Metro.co.uk, Wenger is said to have met Balotelli's agent in London to discuss the possibility of Balotelli moving to the Emirates.
The report mentioned that the negotiations are said to have gone well and Arsenal is now weighing up slapping in an offer at the end of the season.
Balotelli looks increasingly likely to leave Milan after he was again target of racist abuse last week during Milan's clash with Napoli, the report added.
