What! Ed Sheeran is ready to be a dad

Ed Sheeran recently sat down with Beats 1's Zane Lowe for an in-depth interview, where the singer-songwriter revealed he is ready for some mini versions of himself to bring into the world!

"I wanted to be a dad, like, last year," Sheeran told Lowe. "I'm ready. I'm ready, let's go. I want tour bus babies ? little fat, chubby babies that just kind of walk around," reports E! Online.

The possibility of fatherhood is not all that far off for the 'Thinking Out Loud' singer, who's been with live-in girlfriend Cherry Seaborn for about two years.

Sheeran also said that once the kids hit the age in which they begin to attend school, he'll take a break from music and focus on fatherhood.

"I think when they hit four or five and start primary school, I'm just out," said the 25-year-old. "I think Springsteen took an extended break when his kids went to school. I think that's going to be me. I want to set up a little studio in the countryside and have new artists come down."
