Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq has warned the Pakistani leaders against welcoming Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who will be arriving in Islamabad on August 3 to attend the SAARC Interior and Home Ministers conference.

"Whoever welcomes him will be compelled to leave Pakistan," the Express Tribune quoted Haq as saying.

Haq, who was addressing participants of the Azadi-e-Kashmir march organised by the Jamaat towards the Wagah border crossing from Lahore's Nasir Bagh on Sunday, also urged the people to agitate against Singh's arrival in Pakistan.

He added that Islamabad should end all diplomatic ties with New Delhi till the final settlement of Kashmir.

Haq urged the Pakistani Government to call a joint session of Parliament as well as an all-parties meeting to thrash out a national strategy on Kashmir and to appoint a deputy foreign minister, who would be dedicated to Kashmir affairs.

He said that the people would celebrate the Independence Day on August 14, adding they would mark a black day by holding a rally from Muzaffarabad to Chakothi the very next day.

He also called upon the Pakistanis to follow the path of killed Hizbul Mujahideen militant Burhan Wani.

Haq said that his party would continue its 'jihad' till the full withdrawal of Indian forces from Kashmir.
