Olympic swimmers Leisel Jones broke her friendship with Stephanie Rice, claiming that the latter passed 'bitchy' comments about her weight.
The 30-year-old swimmer said that she broke her friendship with the 27-year-old swimmer when the latter became the "ringleader" of "hurtful" behavior in the lead-up to the last Games in London, News.com.au reports.
She claimed that Rice had been 'spreading rumours behind her back' and passed 'hurtful' remarks about her eating habits and her clothes.
In her book 'Body Lengths', Jones detailed how she confronted Rice's "hurtful" behaviour in a changeroom during the London Olympics.
It is being said that the duo was very close pals.
