Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe arrived here on Monday on a three day bilateral visit.
This is Wickremesinghe's first official international visit after assuming the Prime Minister's office last month.
He is expected to hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, after which both leaders will issue a press statement.
The Sri Lankan Prime Minister will also call on President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday at Rashtrapati Bhawan and hold talks with him.
Both countries are likely to sign several MoUs in various sectors during the visit.
