A new survey has found that majority of women spend one year's pay, an estimated 28,000 pounds, on their hair over a lifetime.
The study, conducted by promotionalcodes.org.uk, also found that the ladies spend 20 hours a year and 39 days of their life at the saloon, the Daily Star reported.
One respondent even admitted that she spends a fortune on her hair because she regards it as an investment and the price of looking good.
Some respondents also claimed that trips to the hairdresser were more of a need then luxury.
