Fans would now have to wait a little less for the sequel of the highest grossing superhero origin movie ever made.
Patty Jenkins' 'Wonder Woman 2' has a got a new release date and will hit theaters a month and a half earlier than expected on November 1, 2019, reports E! Online.
The Gal Gadot-starrer flick was originally scheduled to release on December 13, 2019. The shift follows Disney and LucasFilm's decision to push back the release of 'Star Wars: Episode IX' from May to December 20, 2019 to give new director J.J. Abrams more time to take over from former director Colin Trevorrow.
Released in June of this year, 'Wonder Woman' shattered numerous records on its way to becoming the top-grossing film of all time from a female filmmaker with solo directing duties.
