Zimbabwe has pulled off a historic 24-run win on the fifth day of the second and final Test against Pakistan at the Harare Sports Club on Saturday, which is their third against Pakistan and their most significant victory since they beat India in 2000/01.

Although Pakistan captain Misbah-ul Haq had tried to boost his side's hopes with his unbeaten 79, however, Zimbabwe fast bowler Tendai Chatara's Test-best figures of five for 61 proved the undoing of the tourists and tied the two match series 1-1.

According to Sport24, Chatara took the wickets of Adnan Akmal (20), Abdur Rehman, Saeed Ajmal, Junaid Khan and Rahat Ali, with Pakistan suffering an early blow in the game with the dismissal of Akmal while they were resuming at 158 for five.

Misbah faced 161 balls in reaching 58 at lunch, with the report adding that the victory was Zimbabwe's only fifth win against a major Test nation.
