Hyundai, the South Korean automaker has introduced the 2014 Elantra sedan at the Los Angeles International Auto Show. The 2014 Model design remains the same, but it received a new set of features and minor tweaks.
The 2014 Elantra gets all-new front and rear exterior designs, along with interior styling upgrades. New technologies built into the sedan include the application of the next-generation navigation and audio technology, which feature simpler user interface, enhanced voice recognition commands, improved navigation screens and available Pandora internet radio. A 4.3-inch color touchscreen with integrated rearview camera is now available on the entry level SE, in the Preferred Package, and as standard equipment on the Elantra Sport and Limited.
The new Elantra now features a more elongated front fog lamps, while the tail lamps gets new LEDs. The premium sedan gets new hill-start assist control, new driver's blind spot mirror, standard blue link and Hyundai assurance connected care. These small minor tweaks to the exterior might not be visible easily, but it enhances the overall look of the car and makes it look more elegant.
The new Elantra also gets a new 2.0-litre engine. It is also expected that the new model will also make its way to India, and next year's Auto Expo could be the perfect platform. This is all what we have for now, stay tuned to CarDekho for more updates on the same.
