Audi India, the leading luxury automaker in the country, has sold more than 10,000 vehicles till now in 2014 and is celebrating with special schemes on its top-selling sedans A4 and A6. The special offer is applicable on bookings of first 300 units of A4 and A6 on first-come first-serve basis. The scheme includes, 3 years of - service, warranty, insurance and roadside assistance!

Audi A4 and A6 both are the volume gainer for the Ingolstadt based auto maker in India apart from the major sales cruncher Q series SUVs. Moreover, Audi has also launched an entry-level sedan A3 that sits below both A4 and A6. In the Big-German-3 rivalry, A3 competes with BMW 1-series and Mercedes Benz A Class (both hatch), A4 tackles 3-Series and C Class and A6 competes with E-Class and 5-Series

The next product in the pipeline is the cabriolet version of the A3 sedan. Shown at the 2014 Auto Expo alongside the sedan, Audi will be launching it next month in the country. And is reportedly coming through CBU (Completely Built Unit) unlike the sedan which is assembled here at the Audi/Skoda plant in Aurangabad.

The soft-top Audi will be powered by a 1.8-liter TFSI engine, same as seen on sedan. About diesel, though popular choice among buyers but most likely Audi will not offer diesel in the A3 cabriolet. About the pricing, as the vehicle is likely to come through CBU route expect a price tag closer to Rs. 40 Lac!
