Ford announces the price cut up to Rs. 1.07 lakh

Ford India too announced its price cut across the entire model line up with the declaration of interim budget that brought a sharp cut in excise duty over cars in India. The reduction in the price is as close as Rs. 1.07 lakh across all models.

The benefits are finally passed on to the customers specifically who are planning to buy Figo, Ford Classic, EcoSport, Fiesta and Endeavor. Now, the Figo hatch will costs Rs. 23,399 cheaper to its original price, while Fiesta's price reduces by Rs. 24,056. The company's highly acclaimed SUV, EcoSport, now can be availed with the price reduction of Rs. 25,947.

Moreover, Ford Fiesta and Endeavor are placed in a way to offer benefits up to Rs. 32,961 and Rs. 1,06,753 respectively.

Commenting on the move, Ford India Executive Director, Marketing, Sales and Service Vinay Piparsania said: "Reduction of excise duty is a welcome step for the automotive industry and is timely with de-growth the industry is currently witnessing. We hope it will have a positive impact on consumer sentiment and stimulate pent up demand."
