General Motors India is all set to introduce the much-awaited Beat facelift at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show. First launched in 2010, it has been three years since Beat inception in the market and now it requires a makeover to remain fresh in the highly competitive market. The revamped Beat is likely to be launched at the event, while the deliveries are expected to commence from March onwards.
The 2014 Beat will feature new front bumper, restyled grille and fog lamps. Additionally, the small car will have a new set of alloy wheels and revised rear spoiler. Inside the cabin, the vehicle is expected to remain same except some cosmetic updates to centre console and new upholstery for seats. Moreover, the company will also present another Beat with the Manchester United football club's colours.
Chevrolet India will also showcase its Trailblazer SUV. It is a large, seven-seater SUV, which suit the taste of Indian buyers. However, the vehicle is not likely to make its Indian entry anytime sooner. Additionally, the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7 and Camaro sports will also be put on display at the Auto Expo. The Stingray is powered by a 6.2-litre V8 engine which is mated to a seven speed manual transmission.
