Hyundai launches Celebration Edition Santro Xing

Hyundai Motor Company has completed its 15 years in the Indian automotive industry, and in order to celebrate this milestone the company has announced a ' Celebration Edition' for its most popular Santro Xing hatchback. This limited Edition of the Santro Xing will be available on both petrol and LPG variant, however the pricing for the vehicle is yet to be announced.

 

The 'Celebration Edition' of Santro Xing hatchback sports six new exciting features. These include features like new stylish body graphics and chrome garnish at the rear. More interestingly, the special edition provides rear parking sensors with LED display, which was earlier missing on the current model range. The other elements added to the list of features include a rear sun blind, Blaupunkt Audio system and new floor mats.

With growing competition and an industry slow down, manufacturers are constantly looking at introducing new products into the market so as to keep the customers engaged in buying. One such instance was the recent unveiling of its much talked about Gran i10 hatchback which slated for a September launch. Seeing this move, we anticipate that the announcement in regards to the Celebration Edition of Santro Xing could be result of exhausting the current stock since the hatch has been witnessing a regular dip in sales, and with diesel hatch (Grand i10) we expect it to drop further.
