After riding on the success of the Grand i10, Hyundai is ready to welcome the New Year. The Korean manufacturer will introduce two new products this year and several other refreshes. The year will begin with the 2014 Delhi Motor Show, which is where the new Santa Fe will be showcased.

Then the company will get the sub 4-metre sedan version of the Grand i10 too. This will compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire and the Honda Amaze. Hyundai has been extremely aggressive in its strategy and there is no doubt that the company will be refreshing its existing products too. The Eon, the Verna and even the Elantra will their mid-life upgrades.

At the moment, Hyundai is he only player that can challenge Maruti Suzuki in sales and the company’s Fluidic Design has won several hearts globally. Hyundai will want to continue with its domination not only across the world, but even India. The launch of Grand i10, a model designed for our market and unveiling before the global reveal at the Frankfurt Motor Show is the answer that Hyundai wants to penetrate into our market.

At the moment, Hyundai is the largest car exporter from India and the company is ready to take on the most dominant player. The company was the first manufacturer to introduce a diesel engine in as small as 1.1-litre size mill. We could see this engine on the Grand i10 sedan too.
