McLaren Automotive to Celebrate its 50th Anniversary at Salon Prive

McLaren Automotive will be returning to the Salon Prive this September as part the marque's 50-years anniversary celebrations. This is the second year McLaren Automotive has featured on the Super Car Lawn at Salon Privé, with the 12C and 12C Spider sure to be amongst the highlights.

McLaren will be celebrating its 50th anniversary on September 2nd, just two days before Salon Prive 2013 opens, making it the perfect time for the company to celebrate in the grounds of Syon House at a quintessential English garden party complete with champagne and lobster.

McLaren Automotive Design Director, Frank Stephenson, will also be part of the Chubb Insurance Concours d’Elégance judging panel again this year.  Frank is a key figure in the automotive design world and is credited with a number of iconic cars including the new MINI, BMW X5, Maserati MC12, Ferrari F430 and most recently the McLaren 12C and 12C Spider to name just a few.

It will be the eighth consecutive year for Salon Prive, which will takes place from the 4th to 6th of September at West London’s Syon Park and is firmly established as the UK’s most prestigious Luxury Super Car Show.
