New Skoda Octavia bags 1,000 bookings within three weeks

Skoda Auto India has bagged over 1,000 bookings for the new Octavia premium saloon within 3 weeks of its launch. The Czech automaker that made its entry into the Indian market with Octavia had replaced the car with the Laura in 2010, however this time the company has been selling both vehicles alongside.

Talking about Octavia's achievement, Mr. Sudhir Rao, Managing Director, SKODA Auto India said, "The Octavia is the heart of our brand and is our attempt to give customers one of the best offerings in the country. The Octavia will set new benchmarks in space, ride quality and ownership experience. With the new design language the Octavia is a head turner and is a great value proposition for the Indian consumer. We will continue to bring products that redefine segments and ownership experience"

The third generation Octavia is available in 3 engine options- 1.4 TSI, 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TDI. It is a perfect blend of space, timeless elegant design, high functionality, innovative safety, comfort features and high fuel economy. Skoda had recently commenced the online booking engine for the New Octavia which gave its customers an option to book the car online.
